Thirty Tigers, a music company with artistic sensibility, partnered with MZA to transform an unassuming warehouse in Wedgewood-Houston into a striking new headquarters. The 11,000-square-foot building, a former pre-fab metal box, now features custom offices, a stage for live performances, and even a loft apartment for the bi-coastal owners. MZA upgraded the building envelope, installed a mezzanine, and included structural and mechanical systems without compromising the stripped industrial look. Locally made 5 String Furniture and Southern Lights Electric brought warmth and character with bespoke fixtures and furniture. The result is an expressive, malleable space that translates the eclectic feel of the company and the community it's situated in.
