Description
PSBM, a management firm that serves creatives, asked MZA to convert an 8,000-square-foot Nashville warehouse into a headquarters that is both professional and personality-filled. MZA left the original steel skeleton of the building in place and updated the envelope with energy-efficient panels, preserving its industrial aesthetic. PSBM's offices occupy the top floor, where glass partitions offer acoustic separation without losing daylight. Exposed concrete and metal textures are juxtaposed with fresh new smooth finishes to create a refined but rugged appearance. An outdoor patio is surrounded by a mural, done by Adrien Saporiti, and allows room for team meetings and creative refueling. A white-box tenant space and future expansion suite are also housed in the building, giving PSBM some breathing room. The result is a smart, responsive workplace that captures the diverse energy of clients they serve.
