Description
MZA repurposed a historic industrial printing facility in Nashville as a sanctuary for creative thinkers and entrepreneurs. Named the Ink Building, the 9,400-square-foot building was supplemented by two partial floors, increasing its space by over two times and offering a rooftop deck with views of the city skyline. MZA retained the original steel windows, high ceilings, and structural trusses, unifying old and new in perfect harmony. The space is now occupied by FLO {thinkery} and a community of music, tech, and creative companies. Shared lounges, espresso bars, and meeting rooms promote collaboration among companies, creating a dynamic, flexible work environment. Where there was once a utilitarian warehouse, today is a productive beehive of creative energy and a force for neighborhood growth.
