Description

When Nashville's favorite International Market was pushed out of its longtime home on historic Belmont Boulevard after 45 years, Anna and Arnold Myint, the family who owned it, teamed up with MZA to reimagine their family's legacy across the street. Honoring the much-loved original and the need for a fresh start in the new space, MZA created a space that blends seamlessly between nostalgia and hip style. The original bright orange booths and outside signage provide cheerful nods to the past, while teak wood carved doors and graphic orange floor tile provide warmth and character. Strategically selected, the new, bright interior highlights the bright colors of the market's product displays. Now fondly known as IM2, the reborn restaurant and market continues to be a neighborhood institution for everyone who has supported this staple of Nashville’s culture for years.
