MZA led the interior and architectural redevelopment of a relocated Sleep Inn into the Moxy Memphis Downtown, Marriott's lively hotel brand catering to young, tech-savvy travelers. Reframing the old building involved a new exterior façade design along with vibrant interiors with intimate, amenity-drenched guest rooms augmented by vibrant social spaces. The hotel bar serves as a cozy check-in area, enhanced by communal workspaces, a library lounge, and a friendly contemporary front porch. The result is a lively, design-savvy hospitality space that injects downtown Memphis with a splash of fun style, welcoming visitors and natives alike.
