MZA’s faced a challenge of incorporating two St. Louis favorites, Pastaria Restaurant and Sump Coffee, into the active One C1ty district of Nashville. MZA’s solution: create distinctive environments that celebrate each brand's personality. Pastaria's nearly 7,000-square-foot, cozy interior realizes chef Gerard Craft's vision of expertly prepared, yet approachable dining with a large main dining area, inviting bar, private event rooms, and outdoor patio. Next door, Sump Coffee dispenses perfect pour-overs within stylish, minimalist surroundings beside bespoke cabinetry by Holler Design, reflecting its subtle, contemporary look. Both venues, combined, impart culinary comfort and urban sophistication into Nashville's food scene.
